So I had to go back to the doctor again today to be assessed for the meal replacement diet. I’ve been weighing myself on my grandparents scales, but according to the scales at the hospital I’ve lost 7 lbs in a month. I’ve had a couple of bad days so this was a great turn out for me.
I felt like the nurse was being really negative, she kept saying that a 10% weight loss would be all I could really achieve long term, and my body had “reset” to my current weight, meaning I would always put weight on.
My fitness physician was great though, really positive, she even made a deal with me that the next time we see each other that we’d both be able to do 30 sit ups each. Which made me feel amazing.
I hate how it tastes, I hate how it feels in my mouth, and I particularly hate how I feel after I eat it.
So I decided to try out that march workout plan. Took a couple of “before” shots, that I’ll upload at the end of March, although I can already see a difference between now and three weeks ago…
As for progress; I had to adapt it a bunch, but I did my first abs workout. It’s kind of strange being able to feel my stomach muscles, even if it is just because they ache. Can’t wait until my body can actually keep up with that after-workout-buzz.
Really interesting find, gotta love science.
